Maine High School Basketball - Brunswick knocked off by Gardiner
January 18, 2024: Brunswick, ME 04057 The Gardiner Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Brunswick Dragons to 50 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Skowhegan for a A North contest on Friday, January 19. Gardiner will meet a River Hawks team coming off a 68-44 league loss to Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The River Hawks record now stands at 3-8.
The Dragons (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Greely (Cumberland Center, ME). The Rangers enter the A South contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Greely ran past Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME), 60-52, in a non-league contest.
