Oklahoma High School Basketball - Commerce nips Cave Springs
January 18, 2024: Commerce, OK 74339 Commerce Tigers (Commerce, OK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cave Springs Hornets (Bunch, OK), 2-0 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Commerce upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Tigers host Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK) to play the Bears in a Lucky Seven bout on Friday, January 19. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Wyandotte won 53-34 in their recent non-league bout against Welch (Welch, OK)
Next up, the Hornets play the Welch Wildcats (Welch, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Cave Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 53-34 non-league loss to Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK).
