Georgia High School Basketball - Jones County falls to Union Grove
January 18, 2024: Gray, GA 31032 In Thursday's league match, the visiting Union Grove Wolverines basketball team scored a good 68-58 triumph over the Jones County Greyhounds.
In their next game, the Wolverines meet the Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 20. Union Grove will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 2-13 record after their 78-50 league loss to McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA).
With the defeat, Jones County moves to 15-4 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA) to face the Wildcats in a AAAAA Region 2 game on Friday, January 19. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 7-13. Locust Grove won 58-53 in their recent league game against Ola (McDonough, GA)
