January 18, 2024: Loganville, GA 30052 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Westminster Christian Academy Lions (Watkinsville, GA) and the host Victory Baptist Warrior (Loganville, GA), saw Westminster Christian Academy's basketball squad wallop Victory Baptist by a tally of 62-40.
With the victory, Westminster Christian Academy improves its record to 2-12 on the campaign. The Lions host Brentwood (Sandersville, GA) to confront the War Eagles in a GIAA AA Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The War Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Brentwood won 61-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA)
Next up, the Warrior confront the Kings Way Christian School Crusaders (Douglasville, GA) in a GCAA Region III challenge, on Friday, January 19. Victory Baptist will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 66-36 non-league loss to Friendship Christian (Suwanee, GA).
