In Thursday's non-league outing, the Woodlands Academy Wildcats (Lake Forest, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Beacon Academy Trailblazers (Evanston, IL), by a margin of 53-7.
The Wildcats (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Westlake Christian Academy (Grayslake, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 1-5 record.
The Trailblazers now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park for a Lakeshore outing on Monday, January 22. Beacon Academy will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 51-18 non-league loss to Horizon Science Academy-Southwest (Chicago, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 0-10.
