The Montour Spartans basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Central Valley Warriors to 42 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine-Richland for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Montour will battle a Rams team coming off a 50-33 league win over Butler (Butler, PA). The Rams record now stands at 3-10.

The Warriors (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Moon Area was routed by Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), 44-34, in a non-league contest.
