New Jersey High School Basketball - Immaculate Heart Academy nudges Teaneck
January 18, 2024: Teaneck, NJ 07666 Immaculate Heart Academy Blue Eagles (Washington Township, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Teaneck Highwaymen (Teaneck, NJ), 42-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Immaculate Heart Academy upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Blue Eagles host DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ) to clash with the Spartans in a Big North - United bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 7-6. DePaul Catholic lost 54-40 in their recent non-league bout against Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ)
Next up, the Highwaymen clash with the Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Teaneck will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Minutemen go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 52-22 non-league win over Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ).
