Ohio High School Basketball - Versailles holds off Minster
January 18, 2024: Versailles, OH 45380 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Versailles Tigers (Versailles, OH) and the visiting Minster Wildcats (Minster, OH), saw Versailles's basketball squad hold off Minster by a tally of 41-37.
With the victory, Versailles improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Archbishop Alter lost 43-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Solon (Solon, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the New Knoxville Rangers (New Knoxville, OH) in a Midwest challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Minster will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 49-20 league loss to St. Henry (St. Henry, OH).
