The Wayne Hills Patriots basketball team (Wayne, NJ), was nudged 45-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ)

The Highlanders now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hackensack for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 23. Northern Highlands will battle a Comets team coming off a 59-35 non-league loss to Eastside (Paterson, NJ). The Comets record now stands at 3-10.

The Patriots (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Ramapo edged Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ), 68-46, in a non-league battle.
