Kansas High School Basketball - Uniontown can't hold off Prairie View
January 18, 2024: Uniontown, KS 66779 The Prairie View Buffalos basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Uniontown Eagles to 32 in the Buffalos non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Buffalos now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fredonia for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Prairie View will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 0-0 non-league Pleasanton (Pleasanton, KS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-5.
The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Cherryvale was nudged by Anderson County (Garnett, KS), 34-32, in a non-league contest.
