The St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) basketball crushed the host Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ), 69-29 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lancers (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, NY). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Long Island Lutheran walloped Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA), 82-62, in a non-league test.

The now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Regional for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Ranney will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 42-32 league win over Brick Township (Brick, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 10-3.
