With the victory, Rocky Mount Academy improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC) to confront the Crusaders in a NCISAA Carolina Independent challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 9-7.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain challenge, on Friday, January 19. Wayne Christian will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 43-42 non-league loss to Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC).
