Missouri High School Basketball - Webb City holds off Sparta
January 18, 2024: Sparta, MO 65754 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Webb City Cardinals (Webb City, MO) and the host Sparta Trojans (Sparta, MO), saw Webb City's basketball squad hold off Sparta by a tally of 55-48.
With the victory, Webb City improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Rolla (Rolla, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 12-1. Rolla won 56-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Strafford (Strafford, MO)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Crane Pirates (Crane, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Sparta will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 53-28 non-league loss to Marionville (Marionville, MO).
