New Mexico High School Basketball - Capital overwhelmed by Rio Rancho
January 18, 2024: Santa Fe, NM 87505 The Rio Rancho Rams basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Capital Jaguars to 29 in the Rams non-league victory on Thursday.
The Rams now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roswell for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Rio Rancho will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 26-19 non-league loss to Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-4.
The Jaguars (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Rio Grande triumphed over Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 48-20, in a non-league contest.
