January 18, 2024: Walnut Cove, NC 27052 In Thursday's non-league outing, the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), by a margin of 69-38.
The Sauras (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Buckin' Elks go into the non-league outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Elkin smashed Alleghany (Sparta, NC), 41-27, in a non-league outing.
The Vikings now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host East Wilkes for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 24. North Stokes will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 46-39 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-4.
