Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ambridge bests Carlynton
January 18, 2025: Carnegie, PA 15106 The Ambridge Bridgers basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host Carlynton Cougars to 64 in the Bridgers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bridgers now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Quaker Valley for a WPIAL 4A 2 game on Friday, January 24. Ambridge will confront a Quakers team coming off a 91-38 non-league win over Eden Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 10-4.
With the loss, Carlynton falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 6-7. Hopewell won 65-34 in their recent non-league game against Freedom Area (Freedom, PA)
