January 18, 2025: Anchorage, AK 99506 Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK), 54-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Wasilla upgrades its record to 5-8 on the year. The Warriors travel to Mountain City Christian Academy (Anchorage, AK) to face the Lions in a 4A Northern Lights match on Tuesday, January 28. The Lions enter the match with a record of 5-4. Mountain City Christian Academy lost 67-58 in their recent league match against Palmer (Palmer, AK)
The Golden Bears now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle River for a 4A Cook Inlet match on Tuesday, January 21. Bartlett will face a Wolves squad coming off a 46-36 non-league win over North Pole (North Pole, AK). The Wolves record now stands at 1-4.
