January 18, 2025: South Plainfield, NJ 07080 South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad prevail over the visiting Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ), 66-49 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, South Plainfield advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Tigers host South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 2-7.
The Mountaineers now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Hunterdon for a Skyland - Valley battle on Tuesday, January 21.
