Georgia High School Basketball - Blessed Trinity can't hold off Providence Christian Academy
January 18, 2025: Roswell, GA 30075 Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Blessed Trinity Titans (Roswell, GA), 57-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Providence Christian Academy advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Storm travel to Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA) to face the Patriots in a A D1 Region 8 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 1-12. Oglethorpe County lost 66-26 in their recent league match against Rabun County (Tiger, GA)
The Titans now own a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kell for a AAAA Region 6 match on Friday, January 24. Blessed Trinity will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 77-66 non-league loss to Woodward Academy (College Park, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 15-5.
