Virginia High School Basketball - Tallwood can't get by Cape Henry Collegiate
January 18, 2025: Virginia Beach, VA 23454 Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA), 60-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cape Henry Collegiate advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Dolphins travel to Steward (Richmond, VA) to meet the Spartans in a VISAA Division II match on Tuesday, January 21. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 10-4. Steward won 66-57 in their recent non-league match against Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA)
The Lions now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Run for a Beach match on Tuesday, January 21. Tallwood will meet a Stallions squad coming off a 78-64 non-league loss to Woodside (Newport News, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 12-2.
