Louisiana High School Basketball - Huntington thwarts Carroll
January 18, 2025: Shreveport, LA 71129 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA) and the visiting Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA), observed Huntington's basketball team knock off Carroll by a score of 56-47.
The Raiders (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkway (Bossier City, LA). The Panthers come into the 5A District 1 challenge with a 13-9 record. In their last challenge, Parkway prevailed over Southwood (Shreveport, LA), 53-30, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Carroll will attempt to improve on its 17-15 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 79-73 non-league loss to Carroll (Monroe, LA).
