In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Salmen Spartans basketball team scored a good 58-48 triumph over the Central Lafourche Trojans.

The Spartans (10-15) will now prepare for their contest against Mandeville (Mandeville, LA). The Skippers go into the non-league contest with a 15-14 record.

In their next game, the Trojans meet the E.D. White Cardinals (Thibodaux, LA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, January 21. Central Lafourche will attempt to advance on its 6-23 season record.
