St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Central Knights (Providence, RI), 66-64 in a non-league match.

With the victory, St. Anthony's upgrades its record to 13-2 on the year. The Friars host West Haven (West Haven, CT) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Sunday, January 19. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 8-3. West Haven won 63-50 in their recent non-league match against Greater Lawrence Tech (Andover, MA)

The Knights now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Providence for a Division I match on Monday, January 20. Central will face a Townies squad coming off a 52-46 league loss to Shea (Pawtucket, RI). The Townies record now stands at 6-5.
