Colorado High School Basketball - Poudre Community Academy can't hold off Crescent View Academy
January 18, 2025: Aurora, CO 80014 Crescent View Academy Thunderbolts (Aurora, CO) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Poudre Community Academy Warriors (Fort Collins, CO), 2-0 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Crescent View Academy advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Loveland Protestant Reformed Christian (Loveland, CO) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 0-2. Loveland Protestant Reformed Christian lost 59-38 in their recent non-league match against Front Range Baptist (Fort Collins, CO)
The Warriors now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nederland for a 3A/2A Foothills match on Wednesday, January 22. Poudre Community Academy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 65-20 league loss to Addenbrooke Classical Academy (Lakewood, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 1-10.
