North Carolina High School Basketball - Forsyth Country Day bests Hickory
January 18, 2025: Lewisville, NC 27023 The Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC) basketball toppled the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC), 70-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Furies now possess a 20-4 record. They play next when they host Westchester Country Day for a NCISAA Piedmont bout on Thursday, January 23.
With the loss, Hickory falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Red tornadoes travel to Statesville (Statesville, NC) to play the Greyhounds in a 3A Western Foothills bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Statesville won 75-51 in their recent league bout against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC)
