The Queen's Grant Stallions basketball squad (Matthews, NC), was nudged 57-50 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Indian Land Warriors (Fort Mill, SC)

With the victory, Indian Land advances its record to 17-2 on the year. The Warriors host Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC) to meet the Trojans in a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 5-10. Northwestern won 59-54 in their recent league battle against Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC)

The Stallions now own a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carolina International for a 1A Metro 8 test on Tuesday, January 21. Queen's Grant will clash with a Comets squad coming off a 53-51 non-league loss to Mountain View Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Comets record now stands at 13-5.
