Sidney Cowboys (Sidney, IA) fans went home pleased Saturday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the visiting Lourdes Central Catholic Knights (Nebraska City, NE), 75-51 in a non-league challenge.

The Cowboys (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA). The Knights come into the Corner challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Fremont-Mills trounced Griswold (Griswold, IA), 45-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Lewiston Tigers (Lewiston, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 23.
