California High School Basketball - McLane holds off Stockdale

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting McLane Highlanders basketball team scored a close 53-50 triumph over the Stockdale Mustangs.

The Highlanders (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Madera (Madera, CA). The Coyotes go into the North Yosemite contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Madera was tipped by Coalinga (Coalinga, CA), 65-49, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Centennial Golden Hawks (Bakersfield, CA) in a South Yosemite - River contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Stockdale will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Golden Hawks go into the contest with a 12-8 record after their 54-53 non-league loss to Sunnyside (Fresno, CA).
