The Rome Free Academy Black Knights were victorious over the visiting New Britain Golden Hurricanes basketball squad by a final score of 73-63 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Black Knights face the Proctor Raiders (Utica, NY) in a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Colonial outing, on Friday, January 24. Rome Free Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-0 season record.

The Golden Hurricanes (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Farmington (Farmington, CT). The River Hawks enter the Central Connecticut - West Colonial outing with a 2-6 record.
