The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) and the visiting Notre Dame Spartans (East Stroudsburg, PA), witnessed Riverside's basketball squad triumph over Notre Dame by a count of 83-45.

With the victory, Riverside advances its record to 13-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA) to face the Wildcats in a Lackawanna 2 match on Monday, January 20. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 2-11. Western Wayne lost 83-44 in their recent league contest against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA)

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Bethlehem Christian Panthers (Easton, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Notre Dame will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 12-2 record after their 69-59 non-league loss to Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA).
