The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops basketball squad (Lynchburg, VA), was outscored 61-52 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA)

With the victory, Peninsula Catholic advances its record to 13-8 on the year. The Knights travel to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA) to meet the Saints in a VISAA Division II battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Saints enter the battle with a record of 6-6. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy lost 65-62 in their recent league battle against Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA)

The Bishops now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Cross for a VISAA Division II battle on Tuesday, January 21. Virginia Episcopal School will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 84-67 league win over Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 10-3.
