January 18, 2025: Roanoke, IL 61561 Princeville Princes (Princeville, IL) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL), 46-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Princeville advances its record to 15-3 on the year. The Princes host Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL) to face the Red Storm in a Lincoln Trail match on Friday, January 24. The Red Storm enter the match with a record of 11-7.
The Rockets now own a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seneca for a Tri-County match on Friday, January 24. Roanoke-Benson will face a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 71-39 non-league win over Newark (Newark, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 17-4.
