Utah High School Basketball - Rockwell holds off San Juan

January 18, 2025: Blanding, UT 84511

The Rockwell Marshals basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host San Juan Broncos to 46 in the Marshals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Marshals now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Salt Lake Academy for a 2A Region 16 game on Tuesday, January 21. Rockwell will confront a Griffins team coming off a 66-48 league loss to American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT). The Griffins record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, San Juan falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Gunnison Valley (Gunnison, UT) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 15 game on Friday, January 24. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 8-9. Gunnison Valley lost 58-36 in their recent league game against North Summit (Coalville, UT)
