California High School Basketball - Saint Francis victorious over Sacred Heart Prep

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Saint Francis Lancers basketball team scored a good 49-30 triumph over the Sacred Heart Prep Gators.

The Lancers (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats go into the West Catholic contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, St. Ignatius College Preparatory topped Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA), 57-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Gators confront the Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Sacred Heart Prep will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Jayhawks go into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 68-64 non-league loss to Oakland (Oakland, CA).
