North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Lee victorious over West Cabarrus
January 18, 2025: Sanford, NC 27332 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Southern Lee Cavaliers basketball team scored a good 55-42 triumph over the West Cabarrus Wolverines.
The Cavaliers (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders go into the 3A/4A Sandhills contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Richmond topped Scotland (Laurinburg, NC), 65-29, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a 4A Greater Metro contest, on Wednesday, January 22. West Cabarrus will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Ragin' Bulls go into the contest with a 8-9 record after their 59-46 non-league loss to Concord Academy (Concord, NC).
