Illinois High School Basketball - Lyons overwhelms Riverside-Brookfield
January 18, 2025: Riverside, IL 60546 The Lyons Lions basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs to 35 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Park-River Forest for a game on Friday, January 24.
With the loss, Riverside-Brookfield falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to De La Salle (Chicago, IL) to confront the Meteors in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Meteors go into the game with a record of 6-9. De La Salle lost 50-31 in their recent non-league game against St. Rita (Chicago, IL)
