South Dakota High School Basketball - Hanson can't hold off Arlington
January 18, 2025: Alexandria, SD 57311 Arlington Cardinals (Arlington, SD) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD), 55-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Arlington advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Minneota (Minneota, MN) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 10-6.
The Beavers now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Howard for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Hanson will face a Tigers squad coming off a 56-34 non-league loss to Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 2-10.
