Georgia High School Basketball - South Atlanta fells Berkmar
January 18, 2025: Atlanta, GA 30354 The South Atlanta Hornets basketball team scored 31 points and limited the visiting Berkmar Patriots to 12 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hornets now have a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Miller Grove for a AA Region 6 game on Tuesday, January 21. South Atlanta will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 48-29 league win over Drew Charter (Atlanta, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Berkmar falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA) to confront the Mustangs in a AAAAAA Region 7 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 2-15. Meadowcreek lost 92-13 in their recent league game against Norcross (Norcross, GA)
