Virginia High School Basketball - TPLS Christian Academy toppled by Carlisle
January 18, 2025: Richmond, VA 23112 Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host TPLS Christian Academy Lions (Richmond, VA), 56-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Carlisle advances its record to 9-3 on the year. The Chiefs travel to St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA) to face the Scotties in a non-league match on Monday, January 20. The Scotties enter the match with a record of 9-4. St. Margaret's won 69-36 in their recent non-league match against Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association (Amelia Court House, VA)
The Lions now own a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wesleyan Christian Academy for a non-league match on Monday, January 20. TPLS Christian Academy will face a Trojans squad coming off a 72-13 non-league win over Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 16-5.
