The Spartans (20-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Kays come into the non-league challenge with a 12-9 record. In their last challenge, Kankakee was knocked off by Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL), 55-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Coalers encounter the Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Coal City will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 57-51 non-league loss to Seneca (Seneca, IL).
