January 18, 2025: Carpentersville, IL 60110 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the East Moline United Panthers (East Moline, IL) and the host Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL), observed East Moline United's basketball team knock off Dundee-Crown by a score of 37-29.
The Panthers (1-21) will now prepare for their challenge against Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL). The Blue Thunder come into the non-league challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Belvidere North dropped by Freeport (Freeport, IL), 68-38, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Dundee-Crown will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 21-0 record after their 61-33 non-league win over DeKalb (DeKalb, IL).
