January 18, 2025: Garretson, SD 57030 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Garretson Blue Dragons (Garretson, SD) and the visiting Howard Tigers (Howard, SD), observed Garretson's basketball team overwhelm Howard by a score of 56-34.
The Blue Dragons (1-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD). The Cubs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-11 record. In their last challenge, Alcester-Hudson was routed by Scotland/Menno (Menno, SD), 38-37, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Howard will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 55-50 non-league loss to Arlington (Arlington, SD).
