In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Manual Rams basketball team scored a good 51-41 triumph over the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts.

The Rams (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Peoria (Peoria, IL). The Lions go into the Big Twelve contest with a 0-21 record. In their last contest, Peoria was toppled by Pekin (Pekin, IL), 76-21, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Grey Ghosts confront the Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL) in a Illini Prairie contest, on Monday, January 20.
