In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers basketball team scored a good 32-21 triumph over the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles.
The Deaf Hoosiers (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Christian (Anderson, IN). The Lions go into the Freelance contest with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Liberty Christian knocked off Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN), 48-21, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spencerville Adventist Academy for a Potomac Valley battle on Tuesday, January 21.
