January 18, 2025: Moravia, IA 52571 Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA), 46-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Keota upgrades its record to 7-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA) to face the Savages in a South Iowa Cedar match on Tuesday, January 21. The Savages enter the match with a record of 10-4.
The Mohawks now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seymour for a Bluegrass match on Monday, January 20. Moravia will face a Warriors squad coming off a 32-28 league loss to Orient-Macksburg (Orient, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-7.
