California High School Basketball - Madison toppled by Santana
January 18, 2025: Santee, CA 92071 Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Madison Warhawks (San Diego, CA), 37-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Santana advances its record to 16-4 on the year. The Sultans travel to Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA) to face the Matadors in a Grossmont - Valley match on Tuesday, January 21. The Matadors enter the match with a record of 4-16. Mount Miguel won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Clairemont (San Diego, CA)
The Warhawks now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian for a City challenge on Tuesday, January 21. Madison will encounter a Patriots team coming off a 55-44 non-league win over El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 14-4.
