Georgia High School Basketball - Walnut Grove holds off Pace Academy

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors basketball team scored a close 50-48 triumph over the Pace Academy Knights.

The Warriors (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA). The Titans go into the non-league contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Discovery nipped Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA), 37-34, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Knights confront the M.L. King Lions (Lithonia, GA) in a AAAA Region 4 contest, on Friday, January 24. Pace Academy will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record.
