Michigan High School Basketball - St. Mary can't hold off Petoskey
January 18, 2025: Petoskey, MI 49770 Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting St. Mary Eagles (Lake Leelanau, MI), 39-32 in a non-league challenge.
The Northmen (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Alpena (Alpena, MI). The Wildcats come into the Big North challenge with a 4-5 record.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds (Gaylord, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. St. Mary will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Snowbirds come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 44-32 league win over Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI).
