North Carolina High School Basketball - Wilson Prep bests Southern Nash

January 18, 2025: Bailey, NC 27807

The Wilson Prep Tigers basketball team scored 75 points and limited the host Southern Nash Firebirds to 67 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Word of God Christian Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Wilson Prep will play a Holy Rams team coming off a 52-43 non-league win over North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Holy Rams record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Southern Nash falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC) to play the Gryphons in a 2A/3A Big East game on Thursday, January 23. The Gryphons go into the game with a record of 11-1.
