January 18, 2025: St. Louis, MO 63122 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ursuline Academy Bears (St. Louis, MO) and the visiting Ursuline Academy Bears (Dedham, MA), observed Ursuline Academy's basketball team overwhelm Ursuline Academy by a score of 48-19.
The Bears (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Villa Duchesne (St. Louis, MO). The Saints come into the Girls Independent challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Villa Duchesne was routed by Notre Dame (St. Louis, MO), 37-25, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears encounter the Maimonides M-Cats (Brookline, MA) in a Freelance challenge, on Monday, January 27. Ursuline Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The M-Cats come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 86-34 non-league loss to Prospect Hill Academy (Cambridge, MA).
